High-Pressure Plastic Materials
We carry an extensive selection of brands of high-pressure plastic laminate such as Formica, Wilson-Art, and Never-A-Mar.
Berth Curtains
An important innovation for the privacy and comfort of enlisted personnel is the use of berth curtains. The curtains are made of 100% flame-resistant washable Nomex®. An average pair of berth curtains consists of two panels, 40" wide and 22" long. Nomex is available in the following colors:
Great care has been taken and special dyes are used to produce the most vibrant, colorfast colors possible.
We have our own sewing machines which help ensure a quick turnaround time. If time is of the essence and berth curtains are a necessity, please call us. We are prepared to give you fast service.
Track and Slider Tape System for Shipboard Berth Curtains
The track is extruded of aluminum alloy 6063 T-5 anodized clear finish. We fabricate the rods to any length required for the bunk. The tape slides into the track through a stamped aperture.
Some advantages of the Track and Slider Tape System include:
- Berth curtains move without vibration or rattling.
- No pins, hooks, or grommets are required.
- Slider tape is a permanent part of berth curtain.
- Slider tape is completely washable.
- Permanent end-stops fit securely in track.
- No parts to lose or replace.
- Slider tape is guaranteed for life of curtain.
We provide steel tubing and welding service to install a framework for the installation of berth curtains for the top bunks.
Carpet
The only approved carpet for shipboard use is wool pile woven through the back. It must conform to Federal Specification DDD-C-95, Type II, Class 1, 2, or 4.

Furniture
We custom design all furniture and cabinets to meet your requirements. The framework of all tables and cabinets is constructed of aluminum tubing 1/8" thick using 100% weld at all joints.
